a few props we are likely to use in our opening, most of them simply to give the piece verisimilitude, which is where something has a strong quality of realism.

the male character will be wearing a large hoody or coat as he has been found unconscious outside, he would have been wearing some sort of warm layer, or it wouldnt be realistic looking. this is about creating a sense of verisimilitude. if he were in shorts and a t shirt in january, it wouldnt look right.

we are adding a scarf and gloves for the same reason

we have added in the Ipod to establish the time in which our film is set, in modern day, and also to add to the realism.
